Excellent food, just a bit pricey

the food has been downgrading the quality. Also the staff has become super unfriendly. Unfortunately I think that as the restaurant has gained a lot of fame, they think they can treat their customers badly because there are people waiting and thats terrible !! when I have to pay 110 euros for a meal. Must improve ASAP !!!!!

Loved it, best tacos I've tried in Frankfurt

I have never been to Mexico and therefore I cannot say whether the food is authentic or not, but I strongly assume from the feeling that the whole restaurant comes across as very Mexican and not, as is so often the case, fake and deliberate. In any case, we were extremely enthusiastic, the quesadilla was not as you know it, it was 10000x tastier, I still dream of it today :) We can only recommend everyone to come here!

The barbecue tacos are great, the micheladas too, and the sweet bread is super yummy. The only problem are the very small bathrooms. The atmosphere is super Mexican, decoration and Luis as his very attentive, friendly and friendly helpers. The prices to be in Europe are accessible, do not expect prices like in Mexico. Ok, so a Little pricey place. The tacos were good. The quesadillas were okish. Found them a little greasy. The person serving was was not friendly. He brought the wrong order ( which was expensive) and then charged for it only ?? . Also, the service was real slow. Drinks came after food.

Not good and very expensive Mexican food. There are better alternatives in Frankfurt. Not authentic and very greasy. The staff is also very unfriendly. Nunca más.

second time here. dont get me wrong, the food was delicious. However, the service is bad. First time we were there the service was unfriendly and rude however the food was amazing. So w gave it another chance. Again, food and drinks delicious but again the service was bad. Waiter threw the menus on the table. Second round of drinks took at least 25 min. But again the food was food. Worth to try it but don't expect service.

I did not like it. Normal food, without the Mexican flavor although it seems. Little variety. Very small bathrooms. Over an hour waiting to eat after ordering with only 3 tables occupied and no drinks, waiter not wearing mask properly ... I won't be back.

I'm Mexican and I can assure you guys this is the most delicious and authentic restaurant around the area! Tastes like my mom's dishes. I promise when you sit there you will forget for a moment that you are in Germany and you travelled to Mexico. The owner is super nice, we are always lucky to get a place but I advice you to make reservations in advance. Prices are fair. So if you wanna try for the first time REAL Mexican food, this is the place.

The sauces and guacamole tasted good, I found enchiladas a bit bland and mushy. The decor is very cute, colorful and a little cheesy. Looks like an authentic family business, which I find likeable.

I was really disappointed. The food was really greasy and tasted like cheap fast-food and on top it is quite expensive. You don't get the quality you expect. The staff are not really friendly either. Don't get the good ratings.

We had a reservation and still had to wait 30min until we got our table + 30min until someone come to us, it seems like in the weekends it's always busy so I don't recommend if you are immediately hungry. Apart from that, the food was very good and nice drinks.

in all honesty, I can't understand the many very good reviews. The good thing is that we got a place without a reservation without any problems. I also think the decoration in the restaurant is okay and Mexican-looking. The food came relatively quickly. What I don't like, however, is that the food is arranged rather carelessly, the portions are average to small and it tastes bland. In addition, there was always another waiter at our table. When we were done, the accounts were billed speechless and we were allowed to leave without being said goodbye. With the prices (around 14-16 € for a main course), I think that's a bit unsuitable.

Authentic Mexican food and drinks! Best Mexican restaurant in Frankfurt highly recommend. Small place so make reservation on the weekend. Service is a little slow, but doesn’t take away from delicious food.

Small and cozy little Mexican restaurant. It's out of the way where you wouldn't expect it but it always manages to be full, so definitely reserve ahead. Food is tasty although prices are a bit on the high end for the serving sizes(dinner for two with one alcoholic drink each and a shared appetizer 75€). By far the closes to good Mexican food in Frankfurt makes it worth it though. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, decor was very typical and the music have it a nice touch. Ask for specials or off the menu items; there is usually a couple. Enjoy!

One of the best mexican restaurants in Germany, the mole was originally from Oaxaca and tasted like a hug of a prehispanic God. Authentic, friendly and with a very mexican ambiente.

Let the waitress advise you, she will let you discover an explosion of taste ... All local and authentic. just great! ... 5 stars!

This is the most authentic Mexican meal that I've had in Germany so far, needless to say that I'm Mexican. Besides the delicious foods the personal and the owner provide really nice service. Ask what they have in addition to the menu !

It's a cosy, little place with rustic Mexican decor and an ambience to match. I found the food to be very tasty and authentic, the menu focuses on more on the basics of Mexican cuisine (tostadas, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas) with interesting meat or vegetarian toppings (fillings?). I thought the service staff were friendly, not overly attentive, but nothing to merit a negative comment. My biggest problem with the "Fonda..." were the relatively small portion sizes in relation to their prices - the German restaurant market has really got me used to more food on my plate when I dine out. Especially the taco sampler at almost €27 was - sizewise - a bit of a disappointment. In spite of that I would be tempted to visit again, the food tasted really good.

cozy place for a dinner, affordable prices and friendly stuff. you might have to wait a little to be served because the guys do everything on their own. so don’t rush, sit back and enjoy a cozy evening. the food was good, but not wow. rather a “mexican grandma comfort food” kinda food. enjoy!

One more time the food was great the people is super friendly and the cocktails are top notch tag al to awesome tequila (sorry forgot the brand again)... relax place music kept in a level perfect to talk ;)

Very good and authentic Mexican Fonda.

Really authentic Mexican food. The server was super friendly. Corn tortillas were very tasty and the meats were fantastic. Started with a guacamole and chips and it was great. Enchiladas were great and everyone else had tacos. All great. The hot sauce that the server brought us was tasty and super spicy. Great place. Highly recommended.

Best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in the Rhein-Main area. They even do delicious chiles en nogada (probably the only place in all of Germany). Highly recommendable!!!
